For the very first time we are going to host on our website a LIVE VIDEO STREAMING of the first ES LIVE STREAM PANEL on Saturday, November 16th. This first panel is on my couch and we will film it with a few volunteers from our ES community in the HGS group.
This is our test pilot for future episodes of either live or filmed video conferencing so we can determine what kind of resources are required for us to do this on a regular basis in different formats. Tomás has found a few ways we can host the video stream on our personal server, and we are going to test this out and see what happens.
As most of you may realize, when most people do live streams or broadcast content they use third party services like U-Stream or LiveStream and run the broadcast through their third party hosted server. Again, most of you realize our ES content does not fare well with intermediary hosts and this is why we consider this first broadcast as a test pilot, so we can troubleshoot and get the experience we need to determine what is required for us to broadcast video or live streams from our servers and the ES website ALONE.
Our intention is to broadcast live in a way to have better community interaction, see more faces and "real people" in our community, to discuss ascension tools and changes, and find more ways we can interact with each other across the globe in real time. This is the beginning of something new and an exploration of how we can share more of this ascension content in the future.
The Video conference will have two parts. The first part will be from 11 am to 1 pm PST (GMT-8), and the second part will be from 5 pm to 7 pm PST. We split the times in order to have larger availability for our European, UK and Aussie members who may not want to join us in the wee hours!
My feeling for the first panel is that I wanted to give some history about ES and its body of work, how we got to this community, and some of the shared experiences of our panel.
We intend to be able to answer some community questions LIVE from our “couch ES panel” to get a few different perspectives on commentary or questions. If you want to say hello or ask something about the community while its being LIVE STREAMED, please post a comment below, in the same way we have the Ascension Q&A monthly format.
As usual, and especially since this is the first time we are doing this event, we may need to prepare for a few potential issues, like seeing what computer configuration will work to view the live video, etc. As we get more experience with broadcasting video we hope to consistently improve the experience to make it better for all of us!
Theoretically this player should work across platforms and devices.
So to join in LIVE just go to this page at either 11am PST or later at 5pm PST and we should have a live community stream rolling.
We hope that our community enjoys this and that this broadcasting capability allows us to have more human connection, no matter where we are residing across the globe!
